With this small blog entry i authenticate that the blog mentioned in my belodged.com profile is made by myself. belodged.com is a fancy community portal for worldwide free accommodations. Come and enjoy! http://www.belodged.com

To full fill the road map and installing the SSL Encryption for login and main profile information we need a small break in the web services.

This depends on the domain registrar company network solutions and their services. Further more we will have to make a small restart(as far as i know) of the systems here in Switzerland .

All together this will take 2x 10 minutes.

We have no date and time yet. We will keep you UpToDate.

First: Every time it’s possible we repeat: important is not the amounth of users. Important is the agility of a community- here: the user of belodged.com - free accommodations.

Member of belodged.com discussed to want to know more of each other. We follow! After the profil images we added a new function.

In the belodged.com forums we presented and discussed the privacy settings for the profile images. We extended this settings for the 3rd party community links (facebook, hi5 etc.) and your interests settings.

First for our none members some missing screen shots regarding our last post. Profile images and the use of avatars where implemented.

So - as you discussed and requested: profil pictures are online. 1 1/2 weeks later:

In your profile you can upload, crop and manage your profile image together with the privacy settings for this image. Further more you have the possibility to choose an avatar (in case your privacy settings do not allow the display of your image for an user).
