- Guatemala is divided into 22 departments (departamentos):

- Lebanon is divided into 6 governorates (muhafazah), listed with their capitals in parentheses:

1. Beirut (Beirut)
2. Mount Lebanon (Baabda)
3. North (Tripoli)
4. Beqaa (Zahleh)
5. Nabatiye (Nabatiye)
6. South (Sidon)

(PS: A governorate is an administrative division of a country. It is headed by a governor. As English-speaking nations tend to call regions administered by governors either states, provinces, or colonies, the term governorate is often used in translation from non-English-speaking administrations. The most common usage is as a translation of the Arabic Muhafazah or Wilayah. It may also refer to the guberniya and general-gubernatorstvo of Imperial Russia or the 34 gobernaciones of Imperial Spain.)

- Monaco is the second smallest principality in Europe, as well as the second smallest country in the world; only Vatican City is smaller. The state consists of only 1 municipality (commune). Currently the principality is subdivided into 10 wards:

1. Monaco-Ville (Old City with palace)
2. Monte Carlo/Spélugues (Bd. Des Moulins-Av. de la Madone) (the casino and resort area)

9. Moneghetti/ Bd de Belgique (Bd Rainier III-Bd de Belgique)
10. Fontvieille (new land reclaimed from the sea)
